Müezzin Abdurrahman hocaya talimat vermesini bana’da sabah kahvaltıya gelmemi buyurdu. Sabah gittim birlikte kahvaltı ettik.
Bana adabı yapıp yapmadığımı sordu, yaptım dedim. Bunun üzerine müezzin Abdurrahman hocaya beni işaretle “ beş bin vird talimatı ver” dedi. Ben zaten benim virdim var diyemedim. O gece hem eski virdimi yaptım, hem de Gavs’ın verdiği virdi yaptım.
Ertesi sabah Gavs virdi çekip çekmediğimi sordu. Çektim dedim;
bana bu gün “on beş bin çek” dedi. O gece yine hem Gavsın verdiği virdi, hem eski virdimi çektim. Sabah tekrar Gavsın yanına gittim.
Nasıl verdiğimiz virdi çektin mi ? diye sordu. Evet dedim. Bu seferde müezzine döndü ve “yirmi beş bin letaif virdi” talimatı ver dedi. Baktımki ikisi çok ağır olacak dayanamadım, kurban benim eski virdimde var dedim. Bana; ikisinide çek hangisini seversen ona devam et buyurdu. O gece eve gittim. Önce eski virdimi çekmek istedim. Ama bir türlü yürütemedim. Onu bıraktım,Gavsın virdine başladım. Baktım ki su gibi akıyor. Artık eski virdimi bıraktım.
Sabah tekrar Gavs a gittim. Ne yaptın diye sordu. Eski virdimi bıraktım kurban dedim.
